Most Florida estate plans start with a will package or a revocable living trust. A will package covers four documents: a will, a durable power of attorney, a health care surrogate designation, and a living will. Property that passes under a will goes through probate.
A revocable living trust lets the property you put in it pass to your beneficiaries without probate, and the trustee you name can manage it if you become unable to.
Costs
A will package costs $1,000 to $2,000. It includes the will, a durable power of attorney, a health care surrogate designation, and a living will.
A revocable living trust package costs $2,000 to $5,000.
